The World Youth Student & Educational Travel Confederation – the world’s most powerful network of youth and student travel professionals – is launching a global youth travel survey.

The survey will measure customer preferences, marketing, product development, and industry trends. Market intelligence and much-needed data for the youth travel industry will be the key outcomes.

Survey targets will be not-for-profit and for-profit youth travel organizations, institutions, providers, suppliers, and agencies in all major industry sectors, including language travel, higher education, exchange/work experience, volunteer travel, adventure travel, and youth travel accommodation.

The youth travel industry and individual businesses will be the major beneficiaries of this initiative. An executive summary for each respondent will summarize the survey results, providing the global picture, as well as each respondent’s position within that context.

What will the major benefit to your organization be? Allowing us to better represent this important sector of international tourism.

The survey has been developed in a respondent-friendly format. It takes less than 15 minutes to complete, though it can be saved and subsequently resumed at a later date.

The survey will be open till July 16, 2012. Youth travel organizations and businesses are welcome to participate. More information at: http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/950761/9926a18b3ecd .

StudentMarketing, an industry leader in market research and business development in youth and student travel, will be the research partner. Its cooperation will inject invaluable expertise and resources.

WYSE Travel Confederation ( www.wysetc.org ) is a global non-profit trade organization dedicated to promoting and developing opportunities for the youth, student, and education travel industry.
